The first day of school,
it’s such a big day.
I feel so lost,
it’s like I’m a needle in hay.

I’m trying to make new friends,
but I don’t think it’s going well.
In fact it’s going so badly,
I can’t wait till the school bell.

I even tried to be someone I’m not,
but that wasn’t cool.
I should have tried to be myself,
instead of look like a fool.

The school bell finally rang,
I can now go home.
So I can stay in private,
where I am all alone.
