Brazil Poem
Hi, my name is Anisa Aboud and I am one of the PMGF fellows who went to Brazil this year. I wrote this poem during my time there, trying to put into words the impressions Brazil had made onto me. Its trying to convey the rapidly changing economy as well as the people of Brazil trying to keep up with this rapid growth and trying to find their niche in this newly developing society. It may not be very good but I wanted to contribute to your website in some way, I think its a great idea and you should all be really proud of yourselves.
I see before me,
A horizon filled.
I see before me,
A country unfulfilled.
Everywhere I look
Everywhere I turn;
I see people desperate to earn,
Trying hopelessly to find a way to learn.
Minutes pass by
Hours go.
I stand still,
Looking across this ever-changing land.

like i said before this is v. good sooo proud of you
this is vvvvv good sooo proud
wow…powerful stuff……awesome work…keep it up!
