1. Who are you?
I am the summation of all the events in my life. If you don't accept that answer, then I guess my name is (Muhammad) Salim Kassam. The Muhammad is used on my passport but nothing else. Without wanting to fall into an identity crisis, I was born in the UK, hence I am British, yet both my parents were born in East Africa (Kenya and Uganda) and my family is originally from India. Hence I say with a certain amount of conviction that I am a British Kenyan Ugandan Indian young man who hates having to explain how it all works.
2. Where and when were you born?
Edgware 21st June 1990, I’ve been told it was a magical occasion.
3. What are you doing at the moment?
I'm just about to start my second year of Classical Studies (No, i'm not joking) at Kings College London. Other than that my pass times include sitting around the house pondering the meaning of life and sleeping.
4. What inspired you to write?
What makes a journalist's opinion any more valuable than mine? So long as I have a voice I will scream and so long as I have a pen, I will write.
5. What AS/A Levels did you do and where did you do them?
This could take a while! I guess I’ll just stick with the condensed version. I did my AS level exams at Haberdashers Askes Boys School in Elstree (Maths, Economics, Italian and Computing), then changed school to Brampton College in Hendon for my A-levels and did Maths, Economics and Classics (the whole A-level in 1 year... yes it was intense!).
