1. Who are you?
I’m a 19 year old, kebab-eating, morning-lecture-attending, god-fearing, Tesco-value-buying, arsenal-supporting, muslim student by the name of….Ammar Ali Farishta.
2. Where and when were you born?
Born in London on the 20th day of the 3rd month in 1990.
3. What are you doing at the moment?
Currently studying for a degree in Pharmacology at the University of Bath
4. What inspired you to write?
Writers have the potential to influence the opinions of others, as clearly seen these days in many forms of media. Having spotted a big gap in writers who represent religious minorities, I felt it to be my duty to stand up for the little guy but at the same time, inspiring to solve problems in myself, in my community, and who knows, maybe even the world.
5. What AS/A Levels did you do and where did you do them?
I did my A-Levels in Biology, Chemistry, and Maths and did an AS in French and I did them at Merchant Taylors’ School.
