White Simplicity
Within man’s heart,
lies a concept forgotten from the start.
Friend of the believer, a guide for the deceiver, yet ignored,
buried within one’s superficial self.
This dim glow arises to a flicker, an unstabilizing effect—
For to be content, one must be modest,
let actions carry a tongue.
Of elegance rather than affluence,
humility rather than extravagance,
naturalness rather than ostentation.
Yet such exemplifications of a humble human being,
barely reach the threshold of humility’s initial meaning.
The spark of humility,
is the knowingly unpretentious sacrifice and dedication.
The essence of modesty,
is the self-forgetfulness humanity strives to achieve.
It governs one’s faith and represents his character.
This pristine reflection is intended to
compel, rather than impel,
to attract, rather than attack,
to act as the body’s conscience.
For the flame of modesty is a reflection of piety,
thus exposing man’s character to the world.
Goodness in its proper color,
discovered while walking down the path of humanity,
Leads man to see the white simplicity
at the end of the road,
radiating warmth, guidance, protection,
and brightening the light of faith for the believer,
bringing him closer to God,
and away from the material world.
Unknowing in disguise,
The Lantern of Modesty silently greets,
inviting towards the Path of Righteousness,
slowly shaping the most essential attribute,
another facet of man’s spiritual perfection.
