As I ventured, I saw…
Oh if a plant could travel, And see the world of colour. Oh if a plant could journey, And see its awesome kingdom.
They would stretch afar, And venture across the kingdom, To see the sights of nature, And dwell on life’s pursuit.
Distance oneself from sentiment, And material, To excel across the lands, In search for something greater.
Exit your shell momentarily, And see the world outside you, For there may be something greater, Lying there within your trail.
Like a conquest, Earnestly seek that path.
For if the earth were not to move, How would we proceed in our time-bound state.
And as toddlers, Were we not to walk, How would we ever know our capabilities.
Rise to the opportunity, Seize the moment, As every second elapses, Cause it’s never coming back.
As the mist engulfs us, And blurs our vision, Let’s clear it out, And dive to find how deep we’ll go before we drown.
Venture within yourself, To see what’s buried within you, What greatness you have compounded within your being. A kingdom of colour and height exist, Impatiently waiting to be surfaced.
